Mission & Charter Statement

The Medicinal Hazard Data Standardization Consortium (MHDSC) is a voluntary, nonprofit global collaboration of industry experts dedicated to the development, standardization, and open dissemination of Medicinal Hazard Data Sheets (MHDS). Its mission is to establish a scientifically rigorous, universally accessible framework for identifying, classifying, and communicating the occupational, environmental, and clinical hazards associated with medicinal compounds across their lifecycle. Operating through transparent governance and expert consensus, the Consortium maintains and continuously updates MHDS standards and data to support healthcare providers, researchers, manufacturers, and regulators in improving safety, compliance, and risk mitigation worldwide. All outputs are developed independently of commercial influence and made freely available to advance global public health, harmonization, and safe handling practices.
